Children's Ministry
Children's Sunday School
PreK-5th grade children are invited to join us for Sunday School during the 10:30 a.m. worship service, as we learn about God's ways through Bible stories, discussions, games, and crafts. The children begin worship in the Sanctuary and come forward to sit with the Pastor on the chancel steps for the Children's Moment. After the Children's Moment, the Sunday School teacher will be waiting on the side to walk the children to Sunday School. Parents may pick up their children at their classroom in the Education wing of First Presbyterian Church. Parents can pre-register their children HERE. All volunteers submit to background checks, attend child abuse prevention training, and follow the policies of First Presbyterian Church.

First Presbyterian Church is a welcoming community and children are a gift to us! We have a private lounge for nursing mothers and will resume childcare for all worship times once the threat of Covid-19 has been contained. We welcome the sounds and stirrings of children in worship. They are a gift!
